Vivaldi on National Violin Day (since 1570)

12/13/18 is National Violin Day.  Since Sarah plays the violin, I feel an affinity to the violin.  And so, on the 347th day of 2018, we will have 1570 as our number of the day (since it was in the 1570s that violin first appeared in the English vernacular) and one of my favorite violin pieces from Vivaldi will be our song.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
