Every Day (is a Holly Day)

Every day is a holiday (or a national day celebrating SOMETHING) and the 353rd (the penultimate palindromic) day of 2018 is actually HOLLY Day.  It was created to celebrate the holly plant (with the impending Christmas holiday) but the founder said one can also celebrate women named Holly as well as Buddy Holly.  And, on 12/19/18, we will celebrate Buddy Holly and, since everyday is a holiday - we will play that song.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
