Dancing in the Dark (only 560 minutes of light!)

The 355th day of 2018 was the shortest day of the year.  I am so glad that, after 12/21/2018, the daylight hours will now get longer.  So, things should be brighter now for the foreseeable future.  Let's hope that, in the same manner, that all aspects of our lives can get brighter as well.  For the number of the day, 560, since that is how many minutes of sunlight we had today, and thinking about darkness, we'll ride with this Bruce classic!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
