93 Year Old Stars in Mary Poppins

12/28/18 was another relaxing vacation day.  The 362nd day of 2018 ended with dinner and a movie with friends who are close to family as we saw Mary Poppins Returns.  While the movie did not reach the quality of the original, it was still pure Disney magic!  What was also remarkable to me was the special appearances by Dick van Dyke and Angela Landsbury - beloved Disney performers.  The number of the day is 93, because both are 93 years young, and our song will be the ORIGINAL Chimney Sweep song.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
