76 Trombone (Christmas)

I love palindromic days - and 12/9/18 was day #343 of 2018 so I knew it would be good.  And it WAS!  Started with a wonderful service at Church and, in the evening, we got to see Trombone Christmas at Philadelphia's Christmas Village.  I love Christmas, I love music, and I love low brass.  So this was a great event and I enjoyed it thoroughly.  Therefore, the number of the day is 76, as in 76 trombones (which is our song!)

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
