Respect for 1,000 Wins

As we do in our household in the evening during basketball season, we had Women's Basketball on the TV.  And, on the evening of the 317th day of the year, we watched Rutgers win.  It was Coach C. Vivian Strunger's 1,000 win, only the 7th women's coach to reach that milestone.  I have enjoyed watching Coach Stringer's teams for years!  So, the number for 11/13/18 is 1,000 to honor and respect this achievement.  And, speaking of respect, Aretha will sing about what we should have for the coach.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
