Kind and Generous (I want to thank 20.4 Million Veterans)

On the 315th day of 2018, I thought a lot about those who have served our country.  That is because 11/11/18 is Veterans Day.  So, the number of the day is 20.4 million, the number of Veterans estimated by the Census Bureau.  And, for a song, I wanted to find one that said "thank you."  So Natalie Merchant's classic is in my ears tonight.  THANK YOU to all that have served!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
