Faith and Lucky Numbers

The 313th day of 2018 was all about faith and numbers.  We spend the day touring and visiting more college campuses in Boston, Mass.  11/9/18 was about Alexa FAITH's options for the next steps.  And the numbers were plentiful, palindromic 313 day; numbers of applications, numbers they may be looking for, numbers of alumni interviews, etc.  And, we capped off this fine day by seeing dear friends (it has been TOO long) and having Chinese Food.  And the capstone fortune cookie stayed in theme, "Fear knocked at the door.  Faith answered,  No one was there."  Faith over Fear is a good suggestion!  And then the numbers will be the lucky numbers from the back of the fortune: "24 17 19, 47, 48, 6.  THOSE will be our numbers of the day!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
