The Year of the Cat (9 Lives!)

10/29/18 has come and gone.  A normal day, pretty much, capped by a thrilling 2-1 win in the next to last Fall Softball game of the season.  But Day #302 of 2018 is also National Cat Day and, even though I am much more a fan of the canine than the feline, it's always a good excuse to honor the number 9 (for lives) and this classic from Al Stewart.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
