Sing Sing Sing (A Drum feature for the 130 Penn Band Drummers)

On the 283rd day of 2018 I was pleased to find out it was Hug a Drummer Day!  And, on 10/10/18, the Penn Band played at the SHS Flu Clinic to promote flu shots on Penn's Campus.  So, connecting the dots, we will honor the members of the Drummer Listserv with the number 130 (representing drummers past and present) and send them all a virtual hug with this classic Benny Goodman drum feature song!  DRUM ON! <hug>

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
