Life is a Highway (I-295)

10/22/2018 is day #295 of 2018.  295 happens to be a highway that I often drive on (today, in fact, I did).  Today was a day off filled with errands and a winning Field Hockey AND softball game.  But 295 will be our number of the day, and Rascal Flatts will sing about highways.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
