Ice Ice Baby (in 40 degrees)

As I sat in the dugout in Deptford on the evening of the 297th day of 2018, I was cold.  And I am almost NEVER cold.  But 40 degree weather on 10/24/18 made me feel as if we were playing Winter Ball, not Fall Ball.  Brrrrrrrr.  40 is our number of the day, too cold for softball.  And the song will be an ice themed song from Robert Matthew Van Winkle.  BRRRRR!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
