Do You Wanna Funk? (1982)

I heard this morning, on Breakfast with the Beatles, Chris Carter (the DJ) told me that 10/5/18 is National Get Funky Day.  So, on the 278th day of 2018 let's funk out to a classic from Patrick Crowley (featuring Sylvester) and 1982, the year of the song's release, will be our number.  Thank God it's Friday, and a Funky Friday at that!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
