Heat! (of the moment - real feel 103 degrees!)

Even though we have reached September, it was really hot on 9/4/18.  Day #247 was too hot.  I want this to end.  For the number, we will hold up 103 (the "real feel" temperature today (adding in the humidity - which is also oppressive!)  And this Asia song came on the radio as I was driving to work today and it is appropriate!  HEAT of the moment, indeed.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
