(for 9/1) Counting 1-2-3 to 2/3 of the year.

The 244th day of 2018 was a pretty quiet one.  Hot and Humid outside again and so I stayed inside and did work and relaxed.  We are 2/3 through the year as we enter the last four months of the year.  So 2/3 will be our number of the day and we will count 1-2-3 with Gloria Estefan.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
