919 was Yom Kippur (It's a Sin)

9/19/18 (919) and Day 262 of 2018 (262) was a DOUBLE PALINDROME day!  A great day ensued, good meetings at work, a celebration for a colleague who is soon getting married, and family time in the evening.  A really nice day.  But, though the whole day, I remembered the solemnity of Yom Kippur and thought about things (sins?) for which I need to atone.  At the forefront, is my temper.  I need to temper my temper, if you know what I mean, and will focus on this for the ensuing year!  But, for tonight, let's celebrate 919 (I love palindromes, sorry not sorry) and listen to The Pet Shop Boys singing about sins.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
