Welcome to My House (for the 279th Fall)

Whelp, as I stated yesterday, it's my 33rd NSO this Fall.  And 8/22/18 marked the Official Move-In Day for the Class of 2022.  And on the 234th day of 2018, the 279th Fall at Penn has arrived.  So, 279 is the number for today and this Flo Rida song that has, amidst a slightly inappropriate set of lyrics, a welcoming message.  Welcome Class of 2022.  Hope you like Penn, my house away from home.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
