Hawaii LLWS Champs (+23 run differential!)

On Day 238 of 2018, the girls went to the beach and I stayed behind to do church work and work work.  But, on 8/26/18, I also got to lie on the couch and watch the LLWS Championship Game.  And I was cheering for the eventual winners, HAWAII!  I love the LLWS, the kids, the quality of play (remember, they're 12!), the sportsmanship, the joy, it's great!  Hawaii only gave up 3 runs in the entire tournament (in 5 games - and the runs were all in ONE game).  So, the number of the day is 23 for their run differential (26 scored, 3 allowed) and, for our song, a remake of the classic TV Show theme!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
