96 Colors of the Wind

8/2/18 is the 214th day of 2018.  It is also National Coloring Book Day.  So for all my art-lover friends (and you should all love and appreciate love at some level if not with all your soul), I hold out the number 96 for the number of Crayola Crayons in the Deluxe Box (with the built in sharpener!!!)  And let's appreciate this classic Disney color related song.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
