Undefeated (and 480 minutes of FH)

Today, the 205th day of 2018, my daughter played 8 hours of Field Hockey!  First, on 7/24/18, Alexa had her second day of field hockey camp - 7 hours long.  Then, the CHS FH Summer League team won their last game and finished the season UNDEFEATED!  So, for the number of the day, I will go with 480 for the number of minutes of the eight hours of FH (yes, she is tired).  And, look, I found a song about being undefeated!  Goodnight!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
