The End (8 days of vacation)

7/21/18 was day #202 of 2018.  As a palindromic day, it was a good day.  But, today also marked the end of our family vacation.  Eight days of vacation with a buffer Sunday tomorrow, and it's back to work Monday.  So we'll hold up 8, which amazingly has yet to be the number of the day, for the number of days (or parts thereof) we had together at the beach and, while searching the "The End" songs, I found this New Edition classic SO, even though it is tangentially connected, we will use it.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
