It's My Life (NJ since 1787)

It's 7/27/18 and that is National New Jersey Day!  Now I still consider myself a Native Philadelphian and. thus a Pennsylvanian, but I have now lived in NJ for over 18 years so, on this 208th day of 2018 I will embrace my NJ residency and use 1787 as the number of the day (the year NJ joined the US) and listen to some Bon Jovi.... because NEW JERSEY!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
