Ice Cream Man (since 1776)

We all know (or should know) that 1776 was the year of this country's "birth," its independence.  On July 4th, we celebrated that day, but on 7/15/18 we celebrated National Ice Cream Day.  And, after a relaxing day #196 of 2018 spent on the beach here in Sea Isle, we had a nice dinner and then had ICE CREAM.  Amazingly, 1776 has not yet been a number of the day so, today, it is!  And I found this strange nugget from Van Halen I will use as the song of the day.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
