Having a Party (since 2010)

So it was a casual conversation about risotto that escalated into a "Risotto Throwdown" event that escalated into what we now know as the Annual Gupta Fest!   A family reunion of sorts for the Penn Band that was held today, 7/28/2018.  So with appreciation for the Gupta Family for hosting and memories of good food, fun, and friends we, on the 209th day of 2018, honor 2010 as the number of the day since the initial event was held in 2010 (8/28/2010) and we play a little party song from Sam Cooke!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
