Do They Know It's Christmas (in 153 Days)?

I was listening to the Phillies as I worked in my office on the 206th day of 2018.  And, on 7/25/18, they won (excellent) AND it was Christmas in July at Citizens Bank Park.  Christmas is one of my favorite seasons, so we will have 153 as the number of the day (153 days until Christmas!) and, bucking a rule I have (no Christmas Music before the dessert is cleared from Thanksgiving), we will play the Band Aid classic song (because it reminds us to give to those who are less fortunate than we are - which is a good message for ANY season).

Sugar Cookie Day and 0 unread emails!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
