Vote (300 of them!)

6/5/2018 was Primary Election Day in NJ.  And I usually get to the polling place each time Election Day occurs.  But, on the 156th day of 2018, I was surely going to vote, for my Brother-In-Law Chris Walters, running for Town Council.  He got his spot and earned 300 votes (98% of the people voting!).  Yes, we live in a small town and turnout was low.  But 98% is excellent, and we will celebrate 300 as the number of the day and this Sesame Street song about voting....

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
