FSU Hit them with their Best Shots.... (.820 Winning Percentage)

On the 154th day of 2018, I watched a lot of College Softball.  It is the WCWS (women's college world series) and the games were exciting.  The last Semifinal game of this bracket was FSU vs. UCLA and, amazingly, FSU won its 6th straight elimination game and reached the Finals for the first time.  The last game of 6/3/18 was filled with a lot of home runs and many of them were SHOTS over the fence.  After this season, we are very aware of and interested in softball home runs :-).  FSU had a winning percentage of .820 in this season, so .820 will be our number of the day and.speaking of shots, Pat Benetar has one of my favorite songs about Best Shots......enjoy!

Sugar Cookie Day and 0 unread emails!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
