Hungry Like the Wolf (inspired by Abby Wambach - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!)

On the 153rd day of 2018 we stayed in the birthday theme.  6/2/18 was the 1st Birthday Party for the son of a dear friend.  And, although we got to the party very late, we were able to help with the party cleanup and spend some quality time with the birthday boy and his family.  But, searching the internet for some thematic inspiration tonight, I saw that today is ALSO the birthday of Abby Wambach.  Abby has always been an inspirational figure for our family because she played soccer and so did our girls.  But I LOVED her remarks (posted on my page earlier) to the Class of 2018 from Barnard College.  She told these young women that they were the WOLVES.  So, to honor her, we will hold up the number 2018 (for the Commencement speech) and the Duran Duran classic for our song.  Happy Birthday, Abby - WAOOOOOOOOO!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
