There's a Hole in the Bucket (just one)

As we approach the end of May 2018, we have reached the 150th day of the year.  5/30/2018 was a normal day, almost boring in its normalcy.  But, sometimes normal is welcome as the mundane allows for time for the brain to rejuvenate.  Today's wacky day of the year is National Hole in My Bucket Day and even my National Day Calendar website cannot find the origin to this one.  But, who cares?  Let's celebrate it with the number one (it only takes one hole to drain a bucket) and the classic version of the song sung by Harry Belafonte and Odetta.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
