Raindrops Kept Falling on my Head (for 7.5 hours)

On the 139th day of 2018, I spent 7.5 hours in Central New Jersey (Mercer County to be specific) watching Futures Field Hockey.  OK, yes, Alexa was really only in four games and we did, in between games, run to Target to buy towels to dry off (it rained ALL morning) and stopped in Panera for a warm-up lunch.  But we got soaked as well in the cold, windy rain, and we finally warmed up after we got home.  I was impressed, on 5/19/18, by the skills on display from Alexa and the other Futures participants.  But, for the song for today, I need to honor the rain with this B.J. Thomas classic.  And, for our number, we'll go with 7.5 for the length of the tournament.  Hope you all stayed warm and dry today!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
