Happy Birthday John Wayne (1907), True Grit

Day #146 of 2018 was a day of relaxation, the Collingswood May Fair, and a BBQ with friends.  And, on 5/26/2018, I found that, 111 years ago (hey, a palindrome), John Wayne was born.  For today's number, we will hold up 1907, the year of Wayne's birth and we will play, as today's song, the theme song from a Wayne Classic, True Grit.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
