48 Years of Penn (Fight on!)

I knew the 131st day of 2018 would be a good one.  The palindromic 5/11/18 was also Friday of Alumni Weekend at Penn.  It's Sarah's Reunion so we are registered for the weekend!  Celebrating the 48 years of our reunions combined, we have 48 as our number of the day and we sing Fight On, Pennsylvania to our Penn Band recording!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
