Philadelphia Zoo! (since 1874)

The 97th day of 2018 was spent setting up the Snack Stand for Little League (leisurely, since Opening Day was moved to next week since winter does not want to leave us).  But, on 4/7/18, we're not going to focus on that event, we'll celebrate National Zoo Lovers Day.  We love the zoo, in our family, and, hopefully, Alexa will be volunteering there soon.  Coincidentally, Sarah and I watched the end of Zookeeper on TV today and we will use Talk To the Animals as the song of the day.  Since the Phila. Zoo opened in 1874, that will be our number of the day!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
