Last Dance (Donna Summer, 1978)

Whelp, tonight, 4/27/2018, was the last dance at Oaklyn Public School that a Sherr child will attend.  The 117th day of 2018 was the date of the Spring Fling Dance at OPS.  Driving the kids from the school to the diner, I realized that this is the first of many lasts that we will be experiencing this year and through the next few years as things change.  In honor of the last dance, we will play Last Dance by diva Donna Summer and we will honor the number 1978, the year of its release.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
