Spring with Vivaldi (RV 269)

Well, you'd never know it from the weather, but the 79th day of 2018 was the First Day of Spring.  I hustled home quickly on 3/20/18 to get into the house before the snow gets bad.  I cannot believe it's going to snow again!  grrrrrrr  I want to ignore the snow, and focus on Spring.  So I am playing Vivaldi's Spring as the Song of the Day, and it is RV269 in his catalog, so 269 is the number of the day.  Come on Mother Nature, give us a real Spring!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
