Popeye (since 1929)

On National Spinach Day, let us turn our eyes to Popeye the Sailor Man who first appeared in the comics in 1929.  I am exhausted, so I will take the easy way out and his theme song is the song of the 85th day of 2018.  And, on 3/26/18, we will hold up 1929 as the number of the day as well.  Good Night!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
