Blue and Gold! (Be True to your School - #592)

The 82nd day of 2018 was also the day of the last Blue and Gold Night at OPS.  On 3/23/18, we rushed home to get there on time and watch the kids of Oaklyn battle it out and stay positive and supportive of the other team as well.  And we had fun.  I am really tired, so I will not be long, but we will use OPS' Snow Emergency Number (592) as the number of the day (heck, snow IS still on the ground from Wednesday's snow day) and this Beach Boys song about school spirit will play us to sleep.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
