Less Stress, More Faith = 212 (i.e. Matthew 2:12)

"And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they left for their own country by another road."  My mantra for 2018 has been "Less Stress, More Faith"  So it was fitting that, on the 7th day of 2018, the First Sunday of 2018, the scripture read this morning in church (as well as the subject of the sermon) was Matthew 2.  Matthew 2:12 is my favorite line of scripture.  Because there are a lot of roads in life and, sometimes, it is prudent to take a different one.  If I were Frost, I would say the "road less traveled."  The sermon was poignant, the scripture was palindromic.  Less Stress, More Faith.  So, today's number is the palindromic 212 and the song is the classic road song by John Denver.  "Take Me Home!"

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
