43,346,000 Dogs - I love mine

On the 24th day of 2018, I was exhausted.  1/24/18 was a long, long day.  And I was driving my daughter to piano lesson and dropped her off.  Skylar (our dog) was in the van with me and just lifted my spirits on my drive home.  The unconditional love of a dog always is good to brighten one's day!
So today's number is 43,346,000, the American Veterinary Medical Association estimate for the number of households in the US who have a dog.  Glad we are one of them!  Cat Stevens agrees.

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
