10th day - Celebrating 10

1/10/18 is, obviously, the 10th day of 2018.  And the first day of classes at Penn.  And, on the tail of yesterday's stress-filled day, I was looking for a much better day today.  And I got it!  Not a perfect 10 on the 10th day, but, compared to yesterday's low number, today was excellent!  So we will honor 10 on the 10th day and the number of the day will be 10!  And, talking about 10, here is some Ravel!

102nd Birthday

The 43rd day pf 2018 marked the anniversary of the birth of a very important person.  And Abraham Lincoln too!  But 2/12/18 would have been the 102nd birthday of Nettie Soskin, my Bubbe.  She was one of the most amazing women I have ever met and she is one of my role models.  And she could cook too!!  <3  So, to honor her, we have the number of the day as 102 and this Stevie Wonder classic as our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inS9gAgSENE
