I Hope You Dance (12th year)

For the 12th year in a row, the last Friday in October found me at Oaklyn Public School chaperoning the OMAYSC Red Ribbon Halloween Dance.  And, on the 299th day of 2018, I reflected on the fact that my kids were less than OMAYSC age when we started, and now, on 10/26/19, they are past the OMAYSC age and have moved on to High School.  And these dances are important to give kids a place to go and have fun on a Friday evening, even if the last 30 minutes seem to take forever :-).  So 12 will be our number of the day, for the years I have been chaperoning, and Lee Ann Womack sings a nice song about dancing.
