4354 Friends, and Counting

So last night, Anna and I watched the finale of Friends (the TV series, yes).  Anna loves this show, whose last season was before she was even born.  On the morning of the 52nd day, I drove to work and was thinking about the show, and friends, and then, on 2/21/18, I saw a FB post (yes, from a friend) thanking HIS friends for his success.  Yes, friends, Friends was a great show, but friends (on FB and off) are what is really important.  So, I TOO thank my friends, making today's number 4,354 (the number of friends I have on FB, honestly some of whom are just folks I know.... but....) and the song is the theme from Friends.  THANK YOU FRIENDS!

In the Pub (from 1950) dreaming of Beauty and the Beast

It was another day of relative relaxation on the 361st day of 2018.  Got a good swim in at the gym and some down time at home and then capped off 12/27/18 with a wonderful dinner, with wonderful friends in a new place that is actually old.  Yes, we went to the PUB for the first time (amazingly enough) and, in the main dining room, all I could think is that we were in the Beast's Castle in Disney.  I was a great atmosphere and the good food and conversation made it a really nice time.  Since the PUB became the PUB in 1950, that will be our number of the day.  And, since I felt like we were in Beauty and the Beast, its theme song will be our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axySrE0Kg6k

As Cold As Ice (OK, Just 39 degrees)

Merchantville Softball played Waterford Little League on the evening of the 291st day of 2018.  And, on 10/18/18, it was cooooold!  (It is always cold there but tonight it was really cold).  The first cold snap of the Fall has arrived.  I even turned on the car's heat on the trip back.  It's supposed to go down to 39 tonight (first time in the 30s since April), so 39 is our number of the day.  And, although it's not 32, I still think this Foreigner song applies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC99JhQq-3w
