On Eagles Wings with 4031 (40:31)

"but those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
   they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
   they shall walk and not faint."

I have to admit that, on the 21st day of 2018, I missed the Sermon at Church.  I was preparing the Financial Secretary Envelopes and they took me much longer than expected.  But then, on 1/21/2018. after a few errands, we had a family gathering to watch football!  And the Eagles are going to SuperBowl - wow!  And, since I was not limited to today's liturgy, I could find the scripture most fitting for today.  Isaiah 40:31.  "Wings like Eagles!"  So we will go with 4031 as the number today and, for the song, one of my favorite hymns (really, not just because of football) with a connection to the verses.

In the Pub (from 1950) dreaming of Beauty and the Beast

It was another day of relative relaxation on the 361st day of 2018.  Got a good swim in at the gym and some down time at home and then capped off 12/27/18 with a wonderful dinner, with wonderful friends in a new place that is actually old.  Yes, we went to the PUB for the first time (amazingly enough) and, in the main dining room, all I could think is that we were in the Beast's Castle in Disney.  I was a great atmosphere and the good food and conversation made it a really nice time.  Since the PUB became the PUB in 1950, that will be our number of the day.  And, since I felt like we were in Beauty and the Beast, its theme song will be our song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axySrE0Kg6k

As Cold As Ice (OK, Just 39 degrees)

Merchantville Softball played Waterford Little League on the evening of the 291st day of 2018.  And, on 10/18/18, it was cooooold!  (It is always cold there but tonight it was really cold).  The first cold snap of the Fall has arrived.  I even turned on the car's heat on the trip back.  It's supposed to go down to 39 tonight (first time in the 30s since April), so 39 is our number of the day.  And, although it's not 32, I still think this Foreigner song applies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC99JhQq-3w
